Orthopaedic manifestation

• Bilateral sacroilitis
• Spinal kyphosis
• c spine fracture
• Large joint arthritis

New york criteria

• Sacroilitis visible on imaging + 2 of the 3 clinical features
  • Low back pain and stiffness >3 months that improves with exercise not relieved by rest
  • Limitation of movement of spine in sagittal and frontal planes
  • Limitation of chest expansion

• Uveitis
• Heart disease
• Pul fibrosis
• Aortitis
• Renal amyloidosis

Treatment

• Anti inf
• Posture education
• Spinal osteotomy
• Fracture management
• 1st spine, then hip and knee
