Functioning muscle tendon unit is used to restore the function of a non functioning muscle tendon unit

• Nerve injury

• Tendon rupture
• Muscle rupture
• Options of repair, tenodesis and arthrodesis are explored

• APB : use EI

• Long finger flexion: tenodesis
• Thumb flexion: Bracheoradialis

Radial N

• Wrist: PT
• Thumb: PL
• Finger: FCR

Ulnar

• Pinch: Boyes Bracheoradialis
• DIP flexion: tenodesis
• Clawing: Zancolli lasso using FDS
